West of Scotland Anaesthetic Teaching (WOSAT) is a charity dedicated to improving anaesthetic education across the West of Scotland. We deliver high-quality teaching, workshops, and educational resources that support safe, effective clinical practice for trainees, nurses and consultants. We also offer bursaries to medical students, anaesthetic trainees, and those undertaking postgraduate study, helping to widen access to education and support professional development. In addition, we support healthcare in developing countries by providing anaesthetic equipment to hospitals and clinicians who need it most, helping to strengthen safe anaesthesia services worldwide.

Objectives: 4.1 The advancement, promotion and delivery of medical education and training including (without prejudice to the foregoing generality) education and training in the field of anaesthesia. 4.2 The advancement, promotion and delivery of medical research including (without prejudice to the foregoing generality) research in the field of anaesthesia. and 4.3 The granting of scholarships, awards and prizes for the advancement of the purposes set out in paragraph 4.1 and 4.2.
