Summary of the main activities

Awards Prestige Awards Scotland Performing Arts non-profit organisation of the year 2024/25. Members Member numbers have been maintained or increased over the past 12 months across all groups: - Easter, Summer, and October schools. - Classes covering ages 3 up to 12. - Screen School. - Youth Theatre Members: Juniors and Seniors With a waiting list in operation throughout 2024. In 2024 over 30 registered volunteers which is fantastic as they play a vital role in aiding the smooth running of the company. 2024 Activities • At the start of the year our Sponsored Walks initiative returned after the three previous successful events in 2021, 2022 and 2023. ● In January auditions were held for upcoming Youth Theatre Productions of Sister Act Jr and Beauty and the Beast Jr. • Our Saturday Classes grew in numbers and to help with this we had Class Assistants (Senior members of Youth Theatre) join us which has been great. ● We had our Easter School (Make a Musical in a Week) culminating in a show performance. ● In June 2024 Junior Youth Theatre Production of “Beauty and the Beast”. • We had our Junior and Senior Summer Schools culminating in end of week performances. • In August Charities day was a success again this year with a publicity performance for our upcoming Sister Act show.. • In September 2024 Senior Youth Theatre Production of “Sister Act jr”. • October school was held culminating in a performance in our studio. • In December our Junior Youth Theatre performed our Christmas show “Elf and Scrooge” written by our Juinor Youth Theatre Director. ● Also in December the Senior Youth Theatre members combined to perform the Tis the Season show. With the Junior Youth Thetre supporting them by performing a couple of songs.. Through the year we also undertook a number of fundraising and promotion events including: raffles, psychic nights, movie nights, car boot sales.Completing funding applications for show equipment, set building and maintaining our Studio. As well as all of this, we supported and worked with our local community and other local and national groups providing support such as attending shows in groups and on behalf of PT drive and sharing content and news, events online etc from our friends in theatre companies and arts groups from across the country and supporting local and national charitable causes to show support during these.
