Purposes 4 The organisation’s purposes are: 4.1 To promote education in the English language, specifically speaking, reading, writing and understanding English in a variety of settings to enable positive integration into British society at the level chosen by the student, up to and including further education and employment. 4.2 To provide wellbeing support to our service users by fostering social engagement, building confidence and nurturing a sense of belonging and strong community in their adopted homeland. 4.3 To promote and encourage acquisition of cultural knowledge and experience by our service users to facilitate integration as a New Scot into the wider community. 4.4 To provide such practical support as may be required to further enhance the life experience of New Scots, including childcare during lessons, meetings, appointments and interviews. tutoring in other topics such as numeracy and digital skills. and assistance in dealing with practical difficulties, such as maki
