pafEicipO ovecton Aesisterèd c￿rty SC046290 Chairperson's Report st st l February 2024- 31 January 2025 I start my report with thanks to the management team for their continued commitment and support over the past 12 months and I would also like to thank the committee members and trustees for the continued efforts at providing community events. Unfortunately this year has been over Shadowed by event cancelations due to the weather, we started off great with our fist Joint Fun Day with PVP at Parkview Primary, this seemed to be a great success and partnership and are already planning for the next one, Hoping to th be 30 August then 3, Saturday in June Annually. We had held a Halloween Pumpkin hunt which loch young children really enjoyed. th We have a very Successful Fireworks Event in conjunction with the 217 Gilbertfield Company of the Boys Brigade, this event took place on Saturday 2. November at Newton Station, we had a turn out in excess of 5000 over the course of the day with the crowed gathering to its peak at 7pm for the spectacular display. People turn out in massive numbers for this event which is really good, although donations and sponsorships are still down considerably on the previous year. Following on from that we had our local Christmas lights switch on was unfortunately cancelled this year due to Met Off ice weather warnings. Our ever-popular Santa drive by was also cancelled due to Met Office weather warning5. Rounding off the year with some disappointment. I would like to finish by again saying a massive thank you to all our committee members, trustees, partners, sponsors, doners and volunteers who have help us achieve as much as possible in the last year without you all out events would not be possible.
