Achievements and performance

Summary of the main achievements of
the charity during the financial period
There has been hardly any activity this year. We would however like to
keep the charity going as we plan to have more activity in the coming
years.
We are currently working on a widening participation and access strategy
to encourage students from Scotland to apply to Pembroke College in
Cambridge to do their undergraduate or graduate studies. There have
been a number of factors which have hampered our progress over the
years including 1) constant changes in government policy on higher
education costs and funding, 2) the pandemic and 3) two of our key
trustees falling ill (one of them died). These last few years, we've had to
recruit new Trustees (all of them are alumni of Pembroke College) and
recalibrate.

Financial review

Brief statement of the charity’s policy
on reserves
Details of any deficit
Donated facilities and services (if any)
There has been no income or expenditure this year so it has not been
necessary.
