The Partneyshlp's maln achievement has been to brSn8 together people from many different backgrounds on a regular b351s to look at everythlng from floodlnB on the Carse to farm wildllfe surveys, footpath access between local vllla8es. protectlng the area's cultural herltage and promoting the area as a tourlst destlnatlon for vlsltors. After the dlsappolntments of 2023, we were very pleased to secure approval of a 8rant from Forth Envlfonment Link IFELI to run two Climate Action Hub community workshops and other actlvitles durlng summer 2025. These will focu5 on the impact of cllmate chan8e on the Carse landscape and land management to Eive local people 3 5tron8er voice In advocatlng future actlon in addressin8 this malor challenge. Further grant support recelved from Thornhlll Envlronment Fund {TEFI and Gargunnock Windfarm Fund and conflrmed afterthe year end, ha5 ensured that COSP delivers a robust and meaningful programme of Cllmate Acton Hub events In the summer of 2025. As a SCIO, the charlty is subject to regulatlon by the Offlco of the Scottish Charltles Regulator10SCRI. The charity ha5 a membeTshlp but no employees. Trustees Re5ponsibilltles The Trustees ofCoSP are responsible for managing and safeguarding the assets ofthe charity and are also responslble for keeping proper accounting records and ensuring that the accounts are prepared In accordance wlth the terms of the Charitles and Trustee Investment (Scotlandl Act 2005 and the Charltles Accounts {Scotlandl Regulations 2006. The Trustee5 regularly conslder the rlsks faced by COSP and ensure that approprlate management procedures are In place to mltl8ate those rlsks.
