PALS aims to advance the lives of children and young people, aged 0-21 years, in North Lanarkshire with additional support needs and their families through inclusion, compassion, empowerment, collaboration and accountability. PALS will provide inclusive recreational activities for children with additional support needs and their families, improving their quality of life and overall well-being. PALS provides weekly activities including dance, soft play, taekwondo, teen group, swimming and Stay & Play. During school holidays PALS organises different events, including, seasonal parties, trips to farm parks, boat rides, arts & crafts, crazy golf and gaming. PALS will also support parents and carers through training (dietitian, sleep disorders, SDS etc), information, peer support (through our social media groups and member meet ups) and self care opportunities (including massage, salt caves, yoga).

Objectives: 4 The organisation is established for charitable purposes only, and in particular, the objects are: 4.1 To advance the health, relieve the needs and provide recreational facilities and activities with the objective of improving conditions of the life of children and young people, aged 0-21 years, with additional support needs, and their families, in North Lanarkshire and surrounding areas. 4.2 The organisation shall seek to reduce social isolation and promote community inclusion by fostering mutual support networks and opportunities for engagement among families who have a child or a young person, aged 0-21 years, with additional support needs. 4.3 The organisation shall provide and facilitate access to services and activities designed to promote and sustain the emotional and physical health and wellbeing of children and young people, aged 0-21 years, with additional support needs, together with that of their family and carers. 4.4 The organisation shall advance education and personal development by creating and supporting opportunities for children and young people with additional support needs, their families, carers, and the wider community to learn and develop together through shared experiences and collaborative learning. It shall further promote and advocate for inclusive practices, policies, and services that ensure the full participation and representation of families with children or young people, aged 0-21 years, with additional support needs in the formulation and delivery of public policy and service provision.
