We are set up to relieve poverty by providing packs of food (ambient, fresh and frozen), household cleaning and personal hygiene products and pet foods to any residents of the Clydesdale area unable to afford to feed themselves of their family. This is always in response to a referral from one of our recognised agencies eg Social work, Housing, CAB, health service, schools, elected representatives or other charities. The food packs are tailored to the size of the family, age of the individuals and take account of allergies or religious limitations where possible. All packs are delivered directly to the client's home.
Beneficiaries: 'No specific group, or for the benefit of the community'
Objectives: The organisation's purposes are: The relief of poverty The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. And in furtherance thereof. To provide emergency food, household cleaning and personal hygiene materials, without judgement, to those living in the Clydesdale area, who for whatever reason find themselves unable to adequately feed themselves or their families. In all cases this is in response to a referral from a nominated agency.
