AMUK is established to promote a thoughtful and reasoned understanding of Islam, drawing on the scholarly tradition of Imam Hamid al-Din Farahi, Amin Ahsan Islahi, and Javed Ahmad Ghamidi. The focus is on their methodology of study and interpretation rather than on fixed viewpoints. The charity pursues this mission through peaceful and constructive means, including education, research, public learning, and open dialogue. In addition, AMUK works to encourage harmony and mutual respect both among different faith communities and within the Muslim community itself. The charity also seeks to raise awareness of human rights, with particular emphasis on the rights of women and children, through educational initiatives. Alongside this, AMUK supports humanitarian causes in the UK and abroad by offering financial assistance and professional support where possible.

Objectives: The advancement of Islamic religion by presenting and promoting a rational understanding of Islam to everyone, solely through information, education and dialogue. using only non-political and peaceful means. ' Rational understanding of Islam' here refers to any scholarly understanding of Islam that is principally and fundamentally based on thinking and approach documented by Imam Hamid ai-Din Farahi as revised, developed and propagated by Amin Ahsan Islahi and Javed Ahmad Ghamidi. The emphasis therefore is on the approach and not on possible conclusions. 2. The advancement of education by seeking intellectual guidance from AI-Mawrid Global and to adopt and help in their principle objective i.e. 'to facilitate and perpetuate explanatory and research work on the true understanding of Islam, to arrange for its publication and mass communication through all possible, non-political, and non-violent means, and to augment people's knowledge and education through its dissemination', furthermore, reciprocating financially towards their educational and research projects. 3. To advance and work for harmony and mutual respect between diverse religions and various denominations of Islamic faith. solely through information, education and dialogue. 4. The preservation and protection of the rights of all especially women and children by encouraging awareness and education 5. In furtherance of the above objects the trustees may provide financial and professional help on any humanitarian project inside or outside of the United Kingdom
