Objectives: 4.1 the advancement of the education of the Morningside community with regard to the history of the locality and its environs by providing monthly lectures, organising visits to local places of historical interest, undertaking projects into specific aspects of Morningside's history, publishing the findings of these projects and being a point of reference where historical information on Morningside can be lodged or sourced. and 4.2 the advancement of the arts, heritage and culture of Morningside by collecting, preserving, collating and displaying historical materials relevant to the area's past while also recording and publishing oral reminiscences of Morningside provided by members of the community.
