Charity is set up to provide grants to groups within the 4 community council areas of Lochgelly, Cowdenbeath, Lumphinnans and Auchtertool. We meet a minimum of quarterly to score and decide funding applications.

Objectives: 3.1 The Charitable Purposes of the SCIO ('the Charitable Purposes') are to improve the conditions of life of all residents of, and to develop, the Communities by: 3.1.1 conserving the local environment for the benefit of the Communities. 3.1.2 supporting both community facilities and community groups within the Communities in order to promote and encourage active citizenship and community spirit, cohesion and development. and 3.1.4 supporting or encouraging recreational and educational activities within the Communities.
