Achievements and performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the financial period

We have been able to conduct our usual annual fund raising as the village Gala. This is also an opportunity to raise awareness of our work within the community., We have continued to work to address local road, transport and community issues. Road maintenance continues to be a priority and we have continued to look at Road Safety and the junction with the A90. We have continued working on community engagement with the councils Local Development Plan process. We reviewed the procedures for allocating the Mid Hill Wind farm fund. We then opened the application process in September 2025. We then engaged with local groups to assist them in applying for funds. We received 8 applications totalling £45,042.02, the available fund being £49,240.43. Having studied the applications, we passed our recommendations to Fred Olsen renewables, they accepted our recommendations. All applications have been fully funded. Funds have been received and distributed. We have continued working to raise awareness of a planned expansion to the Mid Hill Wind farm, and the SSEN high volage transmission line from Kintore to Tealing and the other associated energy projects in the area.

Financial review

Brief statement of the charity’s policy on reserves Details of any deficit Donated facilities and services (if any)	We have no assets requiring maintenance and have no recurrent expenditure commitments, we aim to hold a small reserve of around £500 to enable us to administer the charity and undertake activities such as public meetings as required. We will review this policy annually.
