Cassiltoun Stables Nursery is located in a Glasgow landmark building in the south of Glasgow and with natural woodland on its doorstep has a strong emphasis on outdoor and natural learning for our children. The Nursery caters for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old and offers wrap-around care 52 weeks of the year from 7.30 am to 5.45 pm. The Nursery delivers Pre-birth to Three and Curriculum for Excellence throughout its five playrooms and forest sites and delivers a holistic approach to learning. The Nursery works in partnership with Glasgow City Council and offers funded places for eligible 2's and 3-5 year olds.

Objectives: 1. The advancement of the education and care of pre-school children, and without prejudice to that generality: ? The provision of and supervision of learning orientated activities for children. ? The provision of appropriate care, guidance, instruction , activities and support directed at enabling children to maximise their educational potential. ? The provision of care, guidance and support directed towards addressing the needs of children, including pre-school children who come from disadvantaged areas and / or single parent families. 2. The advancement of education of primary school aged children and without prejudice to that generality: ? The provision and supervision of learning orientated activities of primary school age in the context of out of school care. ? The provision of care, guidance, instruction, activities and support directed towards addressing the educational needs of children of primary school age in the context of out of school care. 3 .The advancement of education through the provision of training in the skills associated with the care and supervision of children up to and including primary school children. 4 .The provision, promotion, establishment and / or support of projects and initiatives which further charitable purposes of a similar nature for the benefit of the community within Castlemilk and the wider Glasgow area.
