'the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science'

Our charity provides opportunities to sing in a small choir, with a wide repertoire from the medieval and renaissance periods to the 21st century. We organise our own concerts as well as contributing choral pieces to church services and to events organised by others.

Beneficiaries: 'Children or young people','No specific group, or for the benefit of the community'

Objectives: 2.1 to advance, improve, develop and maintain the art, heritage, culture and science of choral singing by any means the trustees see fit, including through the presentation of public concerts and recitals. 2.2 to further such charitable purpose or purposes (in accordance with applicable Scottish legislation) as the trustees in their absolute discretion shall think fit but in particular through the making of grants and donations. The expression 'charitable purpose' shall mean a charitable purpose under section 7 of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 which is also regarded as a charitable purpose in relation to the application of the Taxes Acts
