Cambria AFC is a well-run community-based organisation established in 1965 and registered as a charity. Affiliated to Strathclyde University as Graduate Club, Cambria have a social vocation to bring cohesion between communities through football. The club actively participates to the integration in society of persons from the most diverse social backgrounds and ethnic origins, as well as stimulating people’s wellbeing & equal participation through sport. Through its active membership to the Scottish Amateur FA, Caledonian League, Cambria AFC have a solid exposure to communities to convey Scottish values of tolerance and solidarity. Cambria AFC started a transformation from a traditional football club to an organisation with an active social purpose for its members, their families, and the wider community.
