4.1 The advancement of the arts, heritage and culture of India 4.2 The advancement of racial and religious harmony 4.3 The promotion of equality and diversity And in furtherance of this by. i) Organising the Indian community to provide a common platform for promotion of cultural and social activities. ii) To promote the involvement of people of Indian origin in the civil life of Scotland. iii) Guiding, helping and assisting members of the Indian community in Scotland to secure their contribution to the civil life of Scotland.
