We are an engineering based education charity (SC 042971) that meet in the technical department of Forfar Academy. Our aims are: To provide a recreational facility for youths to participate in socially enterprising activities To advance youth education through engagement in Science , Technology, engineering and Maths based actiivities. To promote responsible citizenship and a sense of community. We are open to all 11- 18 year old young people in the Angus area regardless of ability and social background. We meet afterschool to engage in a wide range of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) based activities.
Objectives: The objectives of the Angus Young Engineers (A.Y.E.) club have been made within reference to the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 (the 2005 Act). Which are: To provide a recreational facility for youths to participate in socially enterprising activities. To advance education through engagement in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths based activities. To promote responsible citizenship and a sense of community.
