To work in conjunotion with South Lanarkshire Council, NHS Lanarkshire and other agencies to promote mental health wellbeing. To improve the quality of life and enhance the self esteem of its member5 and guests. To promote equality of opportunity for all. Summary ol the main activities in relation to thgs• obj•Gts We provide a scKial meeting place for those affected by mental health issues. Meeting for hours once per week, we have around 15 regular attendees. We enjoy qutizes, singing, talking, having guests occasionally, playing games and sometimes crafting. We enjoy an annual day trip and always Christsnas lunch together. We are a peer support group and manage our own affairs. We help adults affected by mental health issues. ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE: We've had another successful year with the highlights being another trip lo Largs with and of course our Christmas lunch.our connections with Community Links Worf(ers al local Surgeries have continued lo strengthen and we are delighted to again have had new members referred to us by them.We're delighted

that one of our original members. who lives in a nursing home, Can join us each week. He enjoys the freedom of the taxi ride be￿een the home and the club. Our members enjoy playing games, tsking part in quizzes and karaoke very occasionally. The biggest and most enjoyable activity is Just being able to talk to each other about everything and anything. We laugh a lot. We love lo celebrate members, birthdays with a cake, a card and a song. We have been described as a big happy family. That is our biggest success. Laughing the issues away has been better than any pill the GP has tried to put me on. 'The doctors, NHS, prescription ffEdicalion; these would have been my options. So Chill Out Club has saved NHS money by helping me.. .1 would have just been al home with nothing to do. At my age alone is a scary place to be., The Chill Out Club has no volunteers, we look after ourselves and each other. Flnanclal R•vl•w Statement of the charity's policy on reserves.. being a very small dub we have no formal reseNes policy, however we do like lo ensure we have funds available for our annual rent of £1.092. In spite of not winning YPI this financial year we managed lo keep our heads above water and had a small profil of £353. We've been fortunate to receive donations of biscuits, jui¢e, lea and Coffee and so this has kept expenditure d¢)wn. Our needs are few and as long as we have enough lo pay lor Our a¢comm¢xlalion and annual outings we're content.
