Summary ol the main activities in relation to thgs• obj•Gts
We provide a scKial meeting place for those affected by mental health issues. Meeting for hours once per week,
we have around 15 regular attendees. We enjoy qutizes, singing, talking, having guests occasionally, playing games
and sometimes crafting. We enjoy an annual day trip and always Christsnas lunch together. We are a peer support
group and manage our own affairs.
We help adults affected by mental health issues.
ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE: We've had another successful year with the highlights being another trip lo
Largs with and of course our Christmas lunch.our connections with Community Links Worf(ers al local Surgeries have
continued lo strengthen and we are delighted to again have had new members referred to us by them. We're delighted

that one of our original members. who lives in a nursing home, Can join us each week. He enjoys the freedom of the
taxi ride be￿een the home and the club. Our members enjoy playing games, tsking part in quizzes and karaoke very
occasionally. The biggest and most enjoyable activity is Just being able to talk to each other about everything and
anything. We laugh a lot. We love lo celebrate members, birthdays with a cake, a card and a song. We have been
described as a big happy family. That is our biggest success.
Momber quot•s:
'The Chill Out Club means a lot to me. Made me stronger and more rjjnfident in myself..
'Il's a family, not a club.
'The friends I have met have helped me get back on my feet and support me wrth my mental health.,
'1 was referred to Chill Out Club, we talk about our mental health but not in a counselling kind of way. Il's just normal
people. who are living through the same or similar issues. We laugh, there is banter. and we can ￿ serious bul most
of the lime rt's lust lun. Laughing the issues away has been better than any pill the GP has tried to put me on.
'The doctors, NHS, prescription ffEdicalion; these would have been my options. So Chill Out Club has saved NHS
money by helping me..
.1 would have just been al home with nothing to do. At my age alone is a scary place to be.,
The Chill Out Club has no volunteers, we look after ourselves and each other.

Statement of the charity's policy on reserves.. being a very small dub we have no formal reseNes policy, however we
do like lo ensure we have funds available for our annual rent of £1.092. In spite of not winning YPI this financial year
we managed lo keep our heads above water and had a small profil of £353. We've been fortunate to receive
donations of biscuits, jui¢e, lea and Coffee and so this has kept expenditure d¢)wn. Our needs are few and as long as
we have enough lo pay lor Our a¢comm¢xlalion and annual outings we're content. We have no employees and
therefore no remunerations have been made over the course ol the year.
Donat•d facllltl•s and s¢rvlc•$
We are very fortunate that our venue. Moncreiff Parish Chu￿* provides our a¢xomThK)dallon at a very good rate and
due to funding they have re¢elved we will have no rent lo pay in the next financial year.
Futur• Plans
We hope to carry on as we have been during the past year and look lo￿ard to inviting some speakers to come lo the
elub, and of course our trip5 and Christmas Lunch.
