We are set up to : Improve the employability prospects, skills and opportunities for local people. Provide long term support for people experiencing unemployment, poverty, mental health issues, social isolation, homelessness and addictions. Provide increased access to services in the local community. We deliver the following: Employability skills, personal development and mentoring programme for people of all ages who are facing multiple barriers to employment and are experiencing inequalities and disadvantage. Information and advice service focussed on m. Community advice service (form filling, debt management, income maximisation) Digital and IT skills. Capacity and skills building programme for local community groups and charities. Community resilience service addressing the issues of food and fuel poverty, providing information, advice, training, signposting, referrals to other services and volunteering opportunities.

Objectives: 1. The relief of unemployment for the benefit of the public in such ways as may be thought fit, including assistance to find employment. 2. For the public benefit to promote learning by people not in full time employment through the continued development of their individual capabilities, competencies, skills and understanding in subjects of educational value. 3. To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing people from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society. 4. To advance in life and help young people through providing support and activities which develop their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals. 5. The prevention or relief of poverty in the Merkinch area of Inverness by providing services to individuals in need. 6. To develop the capacity and skills of the members of the socially and economically disadvantaged community of Merkinch in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet, their needs.
