Charity Trustees Name all of your charity trustees for the period, and the date they left if they were not in post for the whole year

Objectives and activities Our Or anisation's Pur oses Our charitable purposes are to benefit the inhabitants of Eastriggs, Dornock and Creca and their environs without distinction of sex, sexuality, political, religious or other opinions by the advancement of education, sport, citizenship and community development and by the provision or organisation of recreational facilities and activities.

Structure, governance and management Type of governing document Constitution Trustee recruitment and appointment None

Financial review During the year, and in preparation for the proposed dissolution of our charity, we closed the Cumberland Building Society and one of the Bank of Scotland accounts so that all our funds now rested in one single Bank of Scotland account where the end of year funds totalled £361.08. The only income during the year was building society interest of £0.42. As we were no longer arranging activities and holding lists of participants, our insurance and ICO cover was no longer required and the only expenditure in the year was for the gardening group event costing £155.00. Statement of the charity's policy on reserves We no longer hold reserves. Details of any deficit No deficit Donated facilities and services None

Future plans We move into 2023- 2024 hoping to use the remaining funds and submit another dissolution application. Additional information It was with great sadness that we learned of the death of our Chair n March 13th 2023. She had continued to be our inspiration and guide throughout her long illness and she will be sorely missed. In April 2022, we held a final evening meeting of the gardening group, with refreshments, at the Graham Arms where everyone reminisced about all the past activities and outings. Some people had been able to find other gardening clubs to join and some would continue to get together in the craft activities that were being run by WOW, a local women's group meeting in the Graham Arms. Towards the end of the year, we applied for funding to assist with legal fees to clarify ownership of The Green by resurrecting its trustees. Unfortunately, the funding application was rejected and we decided not to pursue this area of concern. We did not have enough volunteers and community support to pursue any further development objectives or to provide community activities so we decided to go ahead and dissolve our charity. In January, we submitted a dissolution application but the application was unsuccessful. We had thought that the Eastriggs and Dornock Early Years charity could be the recipient of our remaining funds but it transpired that its constitution was not similar enough to our own to be acceptable.
