To visit developing countries to help teach and train local surgeons. We then bring a surgical trainee of suitable standing to the UK to provide an extended period of surgical training in the UK under the auspices of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Our funds are from private donations and particularly from a group of mountaineers who tour the UK giving lectures nd collecting donations.
Objectives: 1. The advancement of health: to provide facial surgery free of charge in areas of need worldwide. 2. Education: to provide teaching and support to medical teams in areas of need in order to raise the local standard of care. 3. Provision of surgical equipment and supplies to defined areas of need.
