The charity has established a museum in Peebles, Scottish Borders called the John Buchan Story which is free of charge. It is open April to October and attracts in the region of 2,000 visitors per annum from local visitors and tourists from home and abroad. The museum also actively promotes and participates in literary events.

Objectives: 4.The organisation's purposes are: 4.1To promote as widely as possible interest in the life and work of John Buchan, author, politician, diplomat and statesman, and of his family. 4.2To achieve this aim by operating a Museum with displays of objects relating to his life and photographs of his many achievements, and to make available copies of his books both new and second hand. 4.3To maintain an archive of documents relating to John Buchan and to make it available to academic researchers and other interested parties.
