granted charitable status by oscr on 8th August 2011.
Trustees were appointed in first instance by the Council of the Rotary Club

of Duns, which monthly. The Chairman and other trustees are all members
of Council of the Rotary Club of Duns. Trustees are appointed or
re-appointed anuually at a special general meeting held in November.
Under the Constitution there must be a minimum of three and a maximum
of five trustees. Trustees may co-opt a further two trustees if they consider
it in the best interests of the Trust Fund.

The Club celebrated it's 50th anniversar this ear raisin a

large sum of money Our annual Golf Competition was also
succesful, in raising money for local charities. Our Santa Visits
to schools raised funds and gave enourmous amount of joy to
local choldren. A local Church donated to our on going support
to ShelterBox. A starwberry tea raised funds for charities in
Ukraine.

Achievements and performance

Summary of the main achievements of The charity has made 21 Charitable grants, 6 of which are the charity during the financial period over £1000.00. Together with a number of payments and donations to assist with the successful running of other events. To raise the grants the Trust Fund through the Rotary Club, have again organised a golf competition, a 50th Anniversary Dinner, Strawberry Tea and an number of smaller events such as Tapas evening, Santa visits. Our aim of involving the local community to help local community and beyond has once again been achieved.

Financial review

Brief statement of the charity’s policy The Trust Fund has no need to retain large reserves as we on reserves have no overheads, with all time being given voluntarily. We seek to retain no more than 20% of funds raised in order that we can react to emergency requests. Details of any deficit Donated facilities and services (if any)

The trustees met to review and approve the 24-25 Charity Trust Fund Accounts. The treasurer gave a report on the trust fund and explained it had been the best since covid for charity donations. The 50[th] dinner had been a major contributor. He also explained the accounts had been externally examined by and were given her full approval.

The Trustees unanimously approved the accounts.

A vote of thanks was recorded for hard work.
