The Romanian Orthodox Church in Glasgow is a charity whose main objective is to support the Romanian Community in Glasgow in terms of social, civic, cultural and religious aspects by: promoting the inclusion of people of Romanian origin in the civil of life of Scotland, the Supporting Organization of religious, cultural and philanthropic activities according to Scottish Law and the Traditions of the Orthodox Church, promoting a positive image of Romania in Scotland, promoting opportunities for people in Glasgow to be exposed to the Romanian arts, heritage, religion and culture. The aim of our projects is to create a welcoming environment for a wider range of community activities: - Social and civic activities - Cultural activities - Religious activities We hold a weekly Sunday Service for the community and share any updates at the end of each service, we have been collecting donations in order to purchase our own Church so that there is stability and a sense of belonging.

Objectives: 4.1 To provide the means for the Romanian Orthodox Church to practice the Orthodox faith in particular. 4.2 To support the organisation of religious, cultural and philanthropic activities according to Scottish Law and the traditions of the Orthodox Church. 4.3 To provide the means for the education of the public in the Orthodox faith and Romanian culture and language. 4.4 To advance citizenship, the promotion of equality and diversity and the advancement of the arts and culture.
