See the Trustees' Report pages 2 & 3. Advancement of the arts, primarily music, in the Dunblane area. The orchestra encourages and promotes the playing and public appreciation of a high standard of orchestra music. The orchestra staged two successful and well-attended concerts in Dunblane. The first took place on 12 May 2024, and the second on 17 November 2024. The orchestra also staged another successful Community Play Day on 29 September 2024, which was well attended by members of the public. The costs of this event were met from the restricted fund set up for that purpose.

Objectives: OBJECTS The DCO exists to: a. Advance the arts (in the Dunblane area) by encouraging and promoting a high standard of orchestral music and the playing and public appreciation of such high-quality music. b. Make payments to other UK charities. In furtherance of these objectives the DCO will: i. Give the opportunity to accomplished orchestral musicians from the locality to perform in a chamber orchestra to a high standard without weekly regular rehearsals, ii. Give the opportunity to exceptional musicians to be soloist or conductor with an orchestra, iii. Stage concerts, usually in Dunblane, iv. Bring the experience of live orchestral music to Dunblane, v. Feature interesting and varied programmes, including music by Scottish composers where appropriate.
