Activities
'It carries out activities or services itself'
'the advancement of public participation in sport','the promotion of equality and diversity'
Trust Rugby was set up to enable rugby clubs in Scotland to include a 'unified' rugby team within their set-up. This team would be made up of 'enablers' and those with a disability (either learning or physical). We enable this by training coaches and volunteers within the clubs how to have safe guards in place while training and how to adapt the rules so that certain players can be identified whilst playing the game ie a physical disability player wears a red scrum cap. These clubs then become a seperate charity over time enabling them to access local funds and ultimately the players, family and guardians, bocome part of the club and community
Beneficiaries: 'People with disabilities or health problems'
Objectives: To promote and encourage an appreciation of equality diversity and social integration by proactively supporting the personal development of people through participation in rugby.
