Cranhill Area Association is a community-led charity that works to improve the quality of life of people living in Cranhill. We support residents of all ages by promoting community involvement, reducing social isolation, encouraging equal opportunities and helping to create a stronger and more connected community. We are particularly committed to supporting those who may be disadvantaged due to age, poverty, ill health or other social and economic circumstances. We achieve our aims by organising community activities, events, outings and recreational opportunities that bring local people together and improve wellbeing. We also provide support and funding to local groups and organisations, work in partnership with community and statutory agencies, and encourage residents to play an active role in improving their neighbourhood and shaping local priorities.

Objectives: To promote, further or support all or any activities for the benefit of residents in Cranhill now or hereafter deemed by law to be charitable. To contribute to the provision of housing and associated support and amenities for people in need of such facilities, by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, poverty or social and economic circumstances with the object of improving the conditions of life for such persons. To promote education and encourage equal opportunities amongst residents and the observance of statutory equal opportunities requirement
