Provide musical opportunities for Brass and Percussion players at all ability levels across 2 bands (3 from late 2025). Players join the band through subscription to further their musical skills, exposure to top level performance and musical direction opportunities throughout the country, including supporting other charities through performance fundraising. Our 2 bands allow for varying degrees of skills and commitments and later in 2025 our third band will focus on youth training as part of our commitment to the future of Brass Bands in our community. Our charitable status has allowed us to source funds to start a youth band free of charge to members so it is accessible to all regardless of ability to pay.
Objectives: The primary objective of the Band is to advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of brass band music - in all its aspects by the presentation of public performances.
