“We are committed to handing on traditions to new generations, extending our outreach through social media (Facebook) and Mailchimp, and through meaningful engagement with students from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Recent care-home projects with (mostly elderly) participants—alongside carers—have shown clear benefits: improved emotional and physical wellbeing, enhanced social interaction, and strengthened intergenerational connection.”

Objectives: The organisation’s purposes are: 4.1 The advancement of arts, heritage and culture, of the indigenous folklore of Scotland through the promotion of Scottish and Gaelic music, dance, performance and writing and for the preservation, conservation, and appreciation of Scottish culture, all for the benefit and enjoyment of the public in Scotland and elsewhere. and 4.2 To advance the education of the public in Scotland and elsewhere in Scottish traditional music, arts, culture and heritage.
