Science 03 was set up in 2002 and is governed by its constitution which was adopted on 2 November 2002. It was granted charitable status on 2 December 2008.
Charitable purpose:
The objectives of the charity are to promote science and technology to children and adults through promotional events.
Membership:
Membership of the organisation is open to anyone in the Caithness area who supports the objectives of the organisation.
Trustees:
The trustees of the charity are members of the Management Committee, made up of ordinary members along with those who hold the offices of Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer.

Festival at a Glance
The 2023 Festival would have been the 21[st] Caithness International Science Festival taking place in September 2023 but due to school closures the decision was taken to postpone the festival until March 2024. All funding received will be carried forward to the 2024 festival.
