It was granted charitable status on 2 December 2008. ## **Charitable purpose:** The objectives of the charity are to promote science and technology to children and adults through promotional events. ## **Membership:** Membership of the organisation is open to anyone in the Caithness area who supports the objectives of the organisation. ## **Trustees:** The trustees of the charity are members of the Management Committee, made up of ordinary members along with those who hold the offices of Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer. The trustees who served during the period from 1 October 2023 to 30 September 2024 were: ## **Festival at a Glance** The 2023 Festival would have been the 21[st] Caithness International Science Festival taking place in September 2023 but due to school closures the decision was taken to postpone the festival until March 2024.
