Originally set up in 2008, to collect archival material, preserve the heritage of Clan MacIntyre here in Scotland for the benefit of MacIntyre's across the globe, with a Clan Gathering held in Argyll that year. Another gathering was held 10 years later however with limited funds and decline in the number of Trustees, the Trust is to be wound up .
Objectives: To advance the education of the public in the cultural heritage, history and traditions of Clan Maclntyre for the benefit of the public in Scotland and elsewhere. and 3.2 Such other purposes which are exclusively charitable according to the law of Scotland and are connected with the charitable purposes of the Company, as the Board of directors of the Company shall determine in their absolute discretion from time to time.
