Provide a framework for the staging of amateur theatrical productions in the village of East Linton and elsewhere
Objectives: 2.1 The objects of the group shall be to promote, maintain, improve and advance the education of children, young people and adults particularly by the encouragement of the Arts including the arts of drama, dance, music, singing, literature and visual arts. In furtherance thereof, but not otherwise, the Group shall seek: 2.1.1 To provide a framework for the staging of amateur theatrical productions in the village of East Linton and elsewhere. 2.1.2 To create an environment for people to participate in arts activities and in particular to encourage the involvement of young people. 2.2 The objects of the group further include the raising of funds through arts activities to be applied to the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.
