Charitable Purpose The physical spiritual and general wellbeing of young people While engaging in scouting related activities Activities and achievements The District Lead reported that contrary to the current trend, scouting numbers increased across the district. Many groups reported increased numbers and a new group has been resurrected

in Irvine, after being dormant for a few years. This trend is set to continue with new sections being introduced and waiting lists being addressed. Plans are well under way for a District Camp to be held in June at Lapwing Lodge. Further information will be circulated in the near future. He also reported that a large number of young people had been successful in obtaining the highest award within their sections and a presentation evening had been arranged to recognise their achievements. I number of adult awards had also been presented on that evening. The District Lead informed the meeting that he was standing down from his present role to take on the role of Lead for the South West Region. Those present wished him well in his new role and presented him with a small gift in recognition of his hard work over the past two years. He then introduced ￿ who he had appointed as his successor in the role of district lead. The meeting concluded with a presentation by some of the young people who had attended the Blair Atholl Jamboree last summer. Trustees renumeration and expenses None of the trustees received any renumeration during the year. Any expenses incurred on behalf of the district were reimbursed.

Reserves During the year the district's reserves increased from £14502 to £15153, an increase of £651 during the year. The trustees consider that this balance is sufficient to fund the ongoing activities of the district. Approved by the trustees and signed on their behalf.
