Activities and achievements
The District Lead reported that contrary to the current trend,
scouting numbers increased across the district. Many groups
reported increased numbers and a new group has been resurrected

in Irvine, after being dormant for a few years.
This trend is set to continue with new sections being introduced and
waiting lists being addressed. Plans are well under way for a District
Camp to be held in June at Lapwing Lodge. Further information will
be circulated in the near future.
He also reported that a large number of young people had been
successful in obtaining the highest award within their sections and a
presentation evening had been arranged to recognise their
achievements. I number of adult awards had also been presented on
that evening.
The District Lead informed the meeting that he was standing down
from his present role to take on the role of Lead for the South West
Region. Those present wished him well in his new role and presented
him with a small gift in recognition of his hard work over the past two
years.
He then introduced ￿ who he had appointed as his
successor in the role of district lead.
The meeting concluded with a presentation by some of the young
people who had attended the Blair Atholl Jamboree last summer.
Trustees renumeration and expenses
None of the trustees received any renumeration during the year.
Any expenses incurred on behalf of the district were reimbursed.

Reserves
During the year the district's reserves increased from £14502 to
£15153, an increase of £651 during the year.
The trustees consider that this balance is sufficient to fund the
ongoing activities of the district.
Approved by the trustees and signed on their behalf.
