We assist people to research their family history, and collect and conserve records and photographs donated to us. We transcribe gravestones, and other records and have published some of these in book and media formats.

Objectives: a) The objects of the Society will be to advance education through promoting and encouraging the public study of Family History, Genealogy and Local History in Buchan by meetings, lectures and publications.
