As usual. we enjoyed a very busy and productive year at TGB Gatehouse. Our main funding was provided tiy The Holywood Trust and National Lottery's young Start programme. We self-funded our rents for the school and community centre, sessional worker's wages and gift packs etc. using our Wee Shopp and Refill Centre Income Our work focused on supporting young people. encouragin9 good mental and physical wellbeing through the provided groups and events. This included ¥ fully book•d sumrywr attivities programmp fiindpfl hy thg. 1nr.xl authority's Summer of Fun scheme. This included a combination of sports and drama activitie5 as well as a healthy lunch each day. As with all our activities, this was provided free of any charge in order to promote inclusion. seSsn5 were led by iwo of our young leaders who had grown up and developed through our groups and are now very capable, qualified leaders. Our Shed Project. performing arts groups, Chocolat& and Chat, Lei's Gei Airy. step Oui, study and 5uppuil. Mubi6(Ilily lulb, Tli¥ Wander&ts. Fun Sports. Lego Fun. Monday Movies, Friday night movies, TGB Futures. volunteering and our Young Leaders programme cornprised very full programme of activities for all ages throughout the year. We also had a successlul fvndraising auction. launched the Gatehouse Youth Workers Forum. hosted a reception ft)r all our dedicated volunteers. had foraaing sessions wlh an expert forager. participatèd in our local Gala Week and one of our young people produced a promotional video for TGB. 2024 was the first full year for our Refill Stslion and has increased foottall in our Wee Shop and helped increase within our local community and beyond.
