Our charity runs an annual jazz festival in Kirkcudbright over a weekend in June. We book musicians to play and sell tickets to residents and visitors. Our income comes from donations from patrons and sponsors, advertising revenue from the programme which we publish, ticket sales, a raffle and payments from commercial venues which host events. Our main costs are payments to the bands, accommodation costs for musicians, printing, advertising, hire of premises and insurance.

Objectives: To promote the advancement of arts and culture, in particular, Jazz Music with the object of encouraging public participation in and the experience of Jazz performances in the interest of social welfare for recreation and other leisure-time occupations so that their conditions of life may be improved.
