The event was free ro attend and was an opportunity to prornote the perfortnance of tnusic within the local area. The Management Comrnittee The Manasetnent Cotnrnittee who Served the Charity during the period were as follows.. The New Lai8h Kirk to support the SocieWs performance overheads. This 8rant is detailed in the Financial Review section of the report. In October 2024. the Society successfully staged a production of 'REwf." The Mu51tal.' The Society were able to perform a 4- perforrnance Show week to audience5 atTroonTown Hall followin8 the ck>sure of the Palace Theatre. The show run included a British &8n Lan8uage IBSLI interpreted performance for the third consecutiveyear-the addition proVidedac￿5slo the perfomiance for tnore than 40 members of the local deaf comrnunity. Respectlve responslbllltles of trustees and examlner The charitys trustees are responsible forthe preparation of the accounts in accoidance wtth the terms of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotlandl Act 2005 and the Charities Accounis Iscoilandl Regulations 21K)6. The charity irustees consider that the audit requirement of Regulation Iolllldl of the Accounts Regulation5 does not apply. It 15 my responsibility to examine the accounts as required undei section 44llllcl of the Act and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basis of independent exarnine¢5 Staternent My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation 11 of the Charities Accounts (Scotlandl Re8ulations 2006. An examination includes a review ol the accounting record5 kept bythe charity and a cornparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosuies in the accounts and seeks explanations from the trustees concernin6 any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit. and con5equenily I do not expre55 an audit opinion on the view given by the account5. Independent examlnerfs statement In the course of my examination, no matter has come to my attention l. Which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirernents= to keep accounting iecords in accordance wwth Section 44 Illlal of the 2005 Act and regulation 4 of the 21J)6 Accounts Regulations, and to prepare accounis which accord with the accounting records and comply wilh Regulation 9 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations have not been met. 01 to which. in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understandin8 of the accounts to be reached.
