Independent Examinerfs Report to the Trustee5 of Loudoun Musical Society
I report on the accounts of the chaiity for the year ended 31 January 2025 which are set out on pa8es I to 5.
Respectlve responslbllltles of trustees and examlner
The charitys trustees are responsible forthe preparation of the accounts in accoidance wtth the terms of the Charities and
Trustee Investment (Scotlandl Act 2005 and the Charities Accounis Iscoilandl Regulations 21K)6. The charity irustees consider
that the audit requirement of Regulation Iolllldl of the Accounts Regulation5 does not apply. It 15 my responsibility to examine
the accounts as required undei section 44llllcl of the Act and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of independent exarnine¢5 Staternent
My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation 11 of the Charities Accounts (Scotlandl Re8ulations 2006. An
examination includes a review ol the accounting record5 kept bythe charity and a cornparison of the accounts presented with
those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosuies in the accounts and seeks explanations from
the trustees concernin6 any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in
an audit. and con5equenily I do not expre55 an audit opinion on the view given by the account5.
Independent examlnerfs statement
In the course of my examination, no matter has come to my attention
l. Which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirernents=
to keep accounting iecords in accordance wwth Section 44 Illlal of the 2005 Act and regulation 4 of the 21J)6 Accounts
Regulations, and
to prepare accounis which accord with the accounting records and comply wilh Regulation 9 of the 2006 Accounts
Regulations have not been met. 01
to which. in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understandin8 of the accounts to be
reached.
