KCT hold a "Greoner Gartocharn" event In April wh ich brought together some suppllers and advlce 5ervlces alon9 wlrh members of our communlty wlth dlrect experlence of renewables. Unfortunately the event was poorly attended - It was the first warm, sunny day of the sprSng - but we do have Informatlon packs available for anyone interested. We have obialned two thermal Imaglng camera5 for loan to locals these are great for fi nding out where your home 15 leaking heat and where Insulatlon should be improved. Footpath proje¢ts'. unfortunately there has been no 5igrbificant progres5 on the Aber Bridge paih= there Is no landowner agreement and no f undlng. There has been some route-finding and di5CU551on with landowners on a route from Gartocharn to Kllmaronock Old Kirk (also linklng to Drymen and/or Croftam ie). There is some agreement on sectlons of the route but not all landowners are currently wllllng to cooperate. There were several meetlngs with neighbourlng Development Trusts, arranged by the Natlonal Park to get us to conslder engaglng a shared Development Offlcer. Whlle thls Is stlll potentially a useful idea, none of the nearby Trusts are ready to become an employer at thls stage.
