Llmited by Guarantee. The asset5 of the Company Llmlted by Guarantee were transferred to the SCIO
on 15 July 2020.

It was moved and unanimously approved to elect John Struthers to trustee and re-elect Andrew Sinnott
and Sam Morrlson as trustees.

robust document whlih not only guide5 Kcf project efforts over the next l O years but also has to be
consldered by the Natlonal Park Plannlng department and pollcy groups and by West Dunbartonshlre

Among the proJects that Kcf Intend to pursue and wh Ich are Included In the LPP are: providlng
Informatlon and help for rhe communlty to mcve to renewable energy sources, improving the network
of fooipaih5 and wheeled access routes wlthln Kllmaronock and to & from adjoining places such as
Balloch and Drymen. IDoking at ways we may be able to help wlrh affordable housing and tackllng the
cllmate & biodlversity cri515.
KCT hold a "Greoner Gartocharn" event In April wh ich brought together some suppllers and advlce
5ervlces alon9 wlrh members of our communlty wlth dlrect experlence of renewables. Unfortunately the
event was poorly attended - It was the first warm, sunny day of the sprSng - but we do have Informatlon
packs available for anyone interested. We have obialned two thermal Imaglng camera5 for loan to locals
these are great for fi nding out where your home 15 leaking heat and where Insulatlon should be
improved.
Footpath proje¢ts'. unfortunately there has been no 5igrbificant progres5 on the Aber Bridge paih= there
Is no landowner agreement and no f undlng. There has been some route-finding and di5CU551on with
landowners on a route from Gartocharn to Kllmaronock Old Kirk (also linklng to Drymen and/or
Croftam ie). There is some agreement on sectlons of the route but not all landowners are currently
wllllng to cooperate.
There were several meetlngs with neighbourlng Development Trusts, arranged by the Natlonal Park to
get us to conslder engaglng a shared Development Offlcer. Whlle thls Is stlll potentially a useful idea,
none of the nearby Trusts are ready to become an employer at thls stage. The dlsCU55i0n5 a150 covered
mutual concerns including lack of publlc transport and footpath5, upkeep of communlty assets, and
dlfflcultlÈs In attractlng sufflclent volunteers wlth the rlght Set of 5kl115. It has become clear that
fundlng for Development Trusts wlll be largely become ProJeci.based. The National Park land Scottlsh
Government) are now expectbng that any ongolng costs, such as malntenance of assets, administratlon
and ad-hoc comrn unlty actlvitles would need to be self-funded wlth Incomè strearns from communlty
assers, fund-ralslng events or donations. In Kilmaronock, KCT has no such assets so It may be deslrable
to work with other5 (such as the Millennlum Hall or Prlvate Sector Energy Projects) In order to fu nd
artlvltle5 whlch wlll beneflt ou r communily In li ne with our constitution.

RESERVES
The Trust had a deflcit of £145.58 in the year ended 31 August 2D24 and this has been funded from our
reserves. The reserves ai the year-end are £6.180.01 .
The Trust will CDntinue to seek funding for projecis from varlous sources when the opportunltles arise.

The charlty's Trustees are respohslble for the preparation of (he accounts in accordance with the terms
of the Charltles and Trustee Investment Iscotland) 2005 Acl and the Charltles Account5 (Scotlandl
Regulatlons 2006 las amendedl. The charlty Trustees conslder that the audlt req ulrement of Regulation
l 011 I Idl of the Accounts Regulation5 doe5 not apply. It is my respon5ibilily to examlne the accou nts as
required under section 44111 {cl of the Act and to state whether partlcular matters have come 10 my
attention.
BASIS OF INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S STATEMENT
My examlnation is carrled out In accordance wlth Regulation I l ol Ihe 2006 Accounts RegulaLlons. An
examination incl ude5 a review of the accou ntlng records kepi by the charlty and a comparlson of rhe
