We follcfyv the constitution as set out in Ihe pc4iGy, ganIsati)n and rules of the SGQUt Association ( with Scottish varrationl. Our purposes are to acttvely engage and wpport young people in their Fxrsonal development, empowering them to make a positive Gontribulion to society. Tru3te85 ndA Intment f T All the Group Trustees are appointed by th& Cornmittee and parents at our AGM hdd in Spring eaGh year. Actlvlttes & Achlevements Now having completed our first financial year kn our own building we can start calculating the realtime cost of having our own hall. The building still needs some Maintenan but on a much smaller scale. All of our sections are enjoying their prograrnme Vth all apart from Squirrels enjoying the freedom of Nights away experiences with huge percentsge of tske up. We have present within the local Community with lots of fundraising and communty awareness events including at the Iccal Gala Day, Tesco Blue tokens scheme. the local Inner Wheel, supporting the local OAP h811, at ReMernbra day Poppy selling and parade. a fundraisiry Gin night with a l(tal producer and assorted Ial visits across the sections. All sections have had recipients of the top awards as well as many actimty. partlcipats'¢X, stsged and challenge badges. The focus of th8 Trustees has been steered towards the govemance of the GroLP which is heading in the right direction. We now have a Treasurer and full Trustee Board. Our Leadership t8am has a viety of Characters Ytho give a broad spectrum of oynions to the young pwtye wrth us and enables tIEm to find thar olm OPlnior6. Our nuners contlnue to remaln stable wim young people joining as older ones ap out. Trustee and Remuneratton Expen8es The Trustees did not receive any remuneTh3tion expenses during the yw. Reserves Pollcy As a re8uIt of the surplus from all accounts of £6189 the group holjs general unrestricted funds of £10827 and t1 Beavers, Cubs and Scouts hold designated unrestricted funds of £1009.
