Leith Festival Association was set up to promote arts and cultural activities within the area of Leith. We do this by holding an annual gala day and arts festival each June. Celebrating local musicians, artists, storytellers and more. In addition where funds allow we will hold various events throughout the year, bringing people across the community together through arts of different kinds. For example, In Niv 2024 we held a Leith's Got Talent competition. In the past we have organised christmas carol performances by local primary schools, Burns poetry nights, and more.

Objectives: To promote, maintain, improve and advance education for the public benefit by the encouragement of the arts. To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Leith and its environs without distinction of sex, sexuality, political, religious or other opinions by associating the local statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities, or assist in the provision of facilities, in the interest of social welfare for recreation and other leisure-time occupation so that their conditions of life may be improved.
