Our visrtor fooffall and community engagement numbers have been signfficanlty stronger over this last period and we are so proud of this and we believe our communty is stronger as a result. We have had a busy year wtlh communty groups, schwls and scouts coming along lo learn about Buddhism and gUKled meditation. We continue to have regular visits from our Thai and Buddhist community for Pfayers, giving merrt and blessings. He was hugety popular wilh our communty in his relaxed. humble and hard WOTking attrtude to his efforts in 5UPPQrting our temple services. We give thanks to his ts'me and contributions to our ommunrty and we wish him all the best for the future. This year, we welcomed Phra Warakom and wethrned back Phramaha Akkapom. Both have settled back into Edinburgh and supporting our Thai and I￿21 communty. We give thanks to them for agreeing to move lo Edinburgh and for working so hard for our temple and our communrty. Phramaha Prasert, our head monk. contsnues his stay under Tier 2 visa. His enthusiasm to driving our temple and the supwrt for the ccrfnrnunity forward is exceptional. We are so lucky to have such an inspirational leader and we gNe thanks to his conlinued servv. 2025 Plans We will ensure our standards and professionalism (y)ntinues as we have grown so well and come so far since our humble beginnings. We have plans afoot to build a temporary struclure canopy to the rear of the building whid) will offer shelier for storage, but also for comfort lo our visitors who walk to the rear of the building. We will also renovate the storage l ulilily area on the ground flooi lo ensure il is frt for purwtrse for our busy temple. We will also provide three substantÉal religious and cultural festNals for our o)mmunty lo enjoy, as well as several smaller events based in our lemple. It will be the temples 20, anniversary in August 2025 and we sjan to celebrate with this with a special event that month. Flnancial Revlew We had an income of £64,493 which was In-kee￿n9 wrth a good year for donations. Our expenditure was £59,311 which was ants"cipaled. Horr￿ Office fees and monks travel cost5 were highei than usual due lo sponsoring trNo new monks and one retuming lo Thailand within the last year. The last two years visa costs will therefore level out over the comin9 year. Our main source of income was from communty donations alongside related Grft Aid ¢laims. We also re￿iVed a generous sum from the Royal Thai Embassy in London as well as donations vra Easy Fundraising and Just Giving online apps for wh￿h we are most grateful.
