Activities

'the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage'
Our organisation remains committed to supporting the people we work for to lead fulfilling lives while ensuring their human rights, and those of families and colleagues, are respected and upheld. We will champion public understanding of social care’s vital role, challenge discrimination—especially against disabled people—and influence policy nationally and internationally through partnerships with CCPS, NDTi, the Alliance, and others. Embracing technology, including AI, we aim to enhance colleague roles and improve care, while promoting individual budgets as an effective mechanism for support. In navigating economic challenges, we will adopt innovative thinking, strengthen collaboration with expert partners, and embed Gestalt coaching to empower leadership and autonomy. Guided by Fair Work principles, we advocate against institutional solutions, seek alliances to advance social justice, and consolidate reserves to safeguard against sector turbulence and future uncertainty.
