The trust's objects are: 1) the provision of a hyperbaric facility and associated medical care to divers within Orkney. 2) the training and maintenance of a team to maintain, operate and staff the hyperbaric chamber. 3) increase diver safety by appropriate educational initiatives. and 4) carry out research associated with diving accidents in the recreational diving community with the aim of reducing the numbers of accidents and achieving better management of those which do occur.

Objectives: To carry on a medical facility for the preservation of Human Life, reduction of stress, discomfort and pain, the education of the public in relation to diving safety and the prevention of diving accidents through research innovation and training
