The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 The relief of those in need by reason of disability, through the development and provision of integrated and recreational services for people living with sensory impairments 4.2 The advancement of education and community development through the provision of a central source of information and services that enables and provides support for people of all ages, with a hearing, visual or dual sensory impairment, their families and carers. 4.3 The promotion of equality by ensuring that people with sensory impairments are valued, and have the same access to all opportunities as everyone else.
