The Society is set up to promote the cultural, historical, archaeological and natural heritage of Morvern and its environs. The committee meets throughout the year to plan walks, talks and events on local heritage. These are advertised to the membership by email and to the wider community by posters on local notice boards and posts on the society’s and the local community’s Face Book pages. Some larger projects are undertaken, requiring grant-funding. Applications are undertaken by trustees or members of the society. Volunteers are also welcomed in maintaining local historical sites and in fund-raising activities

Objectives: The objects of the Society are to advance the education of the public, and in particular the local community, in the cultural, historical, archaeological and natural heritage of Morvern and its environs. In furtherance thereof, but not otherwise, the Society shall seek: (i) to educate and provide information on the said heritage in order to raise awareness of the same. and (ii) to promote an active interest in and increase understanding of that heritage.
